A few reminders
We will go outside in all weathers so please provide your child with a coat if the weather requires it. As it gets warmer please put sun cream on and bring a sun hat. Your child must have a change of clothes in school. PLEASE ENSURE EVERYTHING IS LABELLED WITH YOUR CHILD'S NAME.
Please remember a named drink bottle every day. We encourage all children to bring a water bottle to Nursery, which they can refill at regular intervals during the session in order to keep themselves well hydrated and to keep their brains working to the best of their ability.
If you have any questions or concerns that you would like to discuss with us then please chat to us at the end of the session or do drop into the office to make an appointment to see us, we are more than happy to meet with you to discuss any issues.
Reading
The children in Rainbow get to borrow a book from Nursery every Friday to share at home. Please return it every week.
We encourage you to find a regular time to sit down and share books, its proven that this helps them develop the love of reading. Your child might want to read the same book over and over again, if this is the case encourage this and get them to join in with 'reading' it together. This is the best habit you can make to support all future learning.
