PSHE - Education for Life

PSHE (Personal, Social and Health Education) forms a fundamental part of our school curriculum and ethos.  It is through these lessons that we teach children about friendships, relationships, responsibility, aspiration and jobs for the future, economic and financial wellbeing, how to keep themselves and others safe, how to stay safe when they are online, healthy habits and lifestyles, hygiene and puberty amongst many other aspects of every day living.

Our Personal, Social and Health Education curriculum includes statutory content for relationships and sex education.  You can find out more about what schools are required to teach in Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) and Health Education here.

The curriculum statement below explains why and how we teach PSHE, and the curriculum overviews provide more information about what is taught in each year group.  Alongside this, our RSE policy can be found on our policies page here.
