Music
Children at Fairholme are taught to appreciate a variety of different music, as well as learning how to express themselves through playing instruments, composing pieces and singing. We provide lessons for all children across Key Stage 2 to learn a musical instrument and some of these include tuition with specialist teachers from Hounslow Music Service. These are free of charge to our families, and are available for all children at different points, demonstrating our commitment to nurturing and developing the whole child, and providing a variety of educational opportunities to all our children, which they might not otherwise experience. Other classroom music lessons are taught from the Charanga music scheme. We also run extra-curricular music clubs and singing groups and have been awarded bursaries for individual children to continue instrumental tuition beyond school.
